“Reminder system for missed calls and messages”
Don't you just hate it when you leave you miss a call and don't realize until about three hours later? This can be oh-so annoying if the person was calling with some important work information, or to invite you to a party that evening.
You needn't worry anymore though, because Best Reminder helps you ensure that you always know when you've missed a call, a text message or even an email. It does this by playing an alarm on your S60 device at predefined intervals.
It's pretty easy to set the alerts up. You simply need to click the 'Activate' option after installing the program and you're then presented with a series of five options. The first is to toggle between Activate and Deactivate. The second option, 'Remind about Missed' lets you select whether to be reminded about missed calls, messages, or emails by ticking the appropriate boxes.
Clicking 'Remind period' lets you enter the number of seconds between each alert, while 'Alarm' allows you to choose a tone to play. You can either use the default phone alarm or browse to any audio file on your device and use that as the alert. Unfortunately you can't set the volume level of the alarm from within Best Reminder.
The 'Time Restriction' option is very useful because it helps you ensure that the alerts don't play all night while you're in bed. You simply select a start and end time during which the alarm is permitted to sound. You can also choose to enable or disable the backlight and toggle vibrating alerts on and off.
So, if you're looking for a simple way to make sure you never miss an important call or message, Best Reminder provides a very reliable and hassle-free solution.
